ARROGOSA set a good pace from the start and only gave way right at the end. FITZRUE ran well and made a game finish. UPTOWN finished with a rush. ZING ran well, but tired. PADDLE, fractious at the barrier, raced into an early lead under slight restraint, but tired badly when challenged. RAVENSWOOD crossed sharply on the far turn, but closed up fast and outfinished BRIARCLIFF. The latter showed early speed, but tired badly.
