NOSE DIVE, after racing in closest pursuit of the leader until rounding the last turn, rushed into the lead in the stretch and won in a canter. ST. ALLAN set a fast early pace, saved ground on all the turns and finished fast. BRIDESMAN raced gamely throughout, saved ground on the turns and had no mishaps. EARLOCKER. well ridden, followed the leaders under restraint until past the tenth jump, then took the lead and. keeping it gamely when challenged, ontgninod CREST HILL in the final drive. CREST HILL jumped in good style throughout and was saved to the final quarter, where he moved up rapidly, but failed to quite get up. IRISH SKA showed speed on the flat, but lost ground at several of the jumps. ROYAL ARCH took the lead at the start and showed the most speed for a mile and a half, then tired. ZEV, away well, set a fast early pace, but tired in the final drive. WILDERNESS had a clear course on the inside throughout and, finishing fast and gamely, would have been second iu a few more strides. CYCLOPS was a forward contender from the start, but tired in the stretch drive. BLOSSOM TIME began fast and raced close up. throughout. MAD HATTER raced under stout restraint until in the final half mile, then improved his position steadily and, passing the leader when well into the stretch, won easing up. BIT OF WHITE showed great speed while under stout restraint in the early running, saved ground on all the turns and made a resolute finish. LEGHORN, well ridden, followed the leaders under restraint nntil rounding the last torn, then moved up swiftly into the lead when called on and drew away decisively. OVERTAKE rushed into the lead and act a good pace, but gave way when challenged. SDNNYLAND raced under restraint behind the leaders to the final eighth and, finishing with a rush, outstayed MIZAR for third place. The latter ran a game race. THE PERUVIAN was always outpaced. SUN FEY, away forwardly, set a rapid pace until after rounding the last turn and held on tenaciously to the last sixty yards, where she tired. SUNDAY BEST worked her way up steadily and, finishing gamely, outstayed POW WOW in the final drive. The latter met with minor interference in the first quarter and was forced wide and lost ground when entering the stretch, but finished fast. BEATITUDE was hard ridden for the entire race, but was la close quarters on the Inside. Scratched 63941 Sun Quest, 112; 65007 West Pittston, 112; 64432 Bethany, 112. Overweights Runcarol, 5 pounds.
