FAIR LASSIE IS A REPEATER MONTREAL, Que., September 26. Setting the pace from the start Fair Lassie, racing in the colors of D. E. Hammond, was winner of the principal contest at Kempton Park today. It was the second victory in two days for the daughter of Olambala, but she was overlooked in the wagering. Polyga-mist, another outsider, was second, but far back of the winner, which opened up a gap of five lengths in the run through the stretch. Constantine, which raced for W. H. Beaman, "broke a leg while racing in last position in this race and had to be destroyed. The card was again featureless, but produced some keen finishes. Aunt Deda and Sevillan were so closely aligned in the first race that the winner was in doubt until the numbers went up and there was a mild demonstration over the placing of Sevillan first. Aunt Deda went almost to the outside fence at the turn for home after having led from I the start while Sevillan saved ground and !got up in the final strides.
