Won easily; second, and third driving.- TUFTKR followed the leaders in the early running under slight restraint and, moving up gamely on the outside while rounding the last turn, took the lead and retained his advantage to the end. NOSB DIVE raced in close pursuit of tlic leader in the early running and was shuffled back on the stretch turn, but slipped through on the inside in the last eighth and outstayed COSTIGAN in the final drive. Tlie latter was well ridden and, gaining steadily while racing on the extreme outside, finished gamely. DUNCECAP tired after making a menacing challenge when entering the stretch. GOOD NIGHT, off forwardly, raced in close pursuit of the leader for the first three-eighths and appeared to stumble to his knees on the stretch turn, but recovered quickly and, under a skillful ride, got up to win in the last stride. PURITY was prominent all the way and passed ROCK BOTTOM in the final eighth, but ired in the final drive. FULLON lacked early speed, but finished fastest of all. SAKAll saved ground throughout, but was unable to secure a clear course in the stretch. ROCK BOTTOM set a fast pace, but quit badly in the final eighth.
