He has been in the ownership of Charles W. Clark for some years, standing at El Palomar, San Mateo County. The directors of the Pacific Coast Jockey Club have decided to adhere strictly to their original idea of extending invitations, and not "letting the bars down" to all owners. In an announcement recently in the program of the Horse Show held here the directors said : "The Pacific Coast Jockey Club was organized to re-establish horse racing in California upon the best ethical standards and to encourage breeding of horses. In order to insure clean racing only those receiving invitations from its board of directors will be permitted to race."
