A. K. MACOMBER IN LAWSUIT After a recent victory in the Prix Guil-laume-le-Conquerant at Deauville, A. K. Ma-combers Black Larry was claimed by the Marquis de San Miguel for 510,000, and was placed under the care of II. Count, the Chan-tilly trainer. After the disqualification of the horse the purchaser had the option of keeping the animal or to return him in the same condition as when he was claimed. But as the horse has since been blistered Mr. Macomber and the Marquis cannot come to an agreement. The affair has been placed before the courts at Senlis, which appointed an expert to examine the case. In the meanwhile Black Larry has been sequestered. He is in M. Lazords stable at Chantilly.
