v J. E. MADDEN S PROUD BOAST John E. Madden has sent many a champion to the races from his Hamburg Place in Kentucky and this year he is able to boast of three topnotch three-year-olds that he bred, though each one of them is earning fame under the silks of different owners. It was Madden who bred the Rancocas Stables Kai-Sang, son of The Finn and Kiluna, He also bred Samuel D. Riddles Oceanic, another son of The Finn and Veuve Clicquot The other is Montfort Jones Rockminister, son of Friar Rock and Mallard. Rather a distinguished band to come out of one crop. ,
