9 LONG LOST BADGE RESTORED LONDON, England, November 25. The silver badge, vhich was formerly attached to the box for holding the Lanard Silver Bell, the oldest racing trophy in the world, has been restored after having been lost for nearly forty years. The badge was found on a French battlefield by a Canadian soldier and taken to Canada, where it was handed over to the keeping of the president of the St. Andrews Society, Ottawa. This gentleman communicated with Provost Graham, with the result that the badge has now been returned to Lanark. . 4
