CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURP Bridesman, which was quite ill when unloaded at New Orleans, is reported to be recovering rapidly and taking daily exercise. Trainer P. M. Burch of the Nevada Stock Farm, paid a visit to New York Saturday to look over the Macomber mares to be sold next Friday. Tommy Brothers, the Newport. Ky., young-ster, is riding in fine form at Havana, having piloted seven winners at Oriental Park, since the meeting began. C. A. Stoneham, prominent New York turfman and former president of the Cuba-American Jockey and Auto Club, Is expected to arrive in Havana December IS. J. D. Canada Jack Adkins believes ho has a promising young rider in Ernest Ren-zetti, who hails from Toronto, Ont. He is only 17 years old and is riding at Jefferson Park. Jockey Guy Mangan, who sustained a fractured arm at the Lexington meeting, is now at New Orleans, where he was advised to have the arm broken over again and reset, as the injured member failed to mend properly. Jockey Earl Faulstich is the young rider under contract to Richard Pending, track superintendent at Bowie, that was sent to New Orleans to gain experience. He is said, to be promising.
