JIMMY R0WE AT LEXINGTON Looks Over Whitney Horses on Way to New York Many Going for Sale. LEXINGTON, Ky., December 12. James Rowe, en route back to New York, after a hunting trip to Alabama with Harry Payne Whitney and party, stoppoed off here today to see the horses at the Whitney farm and will journey on to New York tomorrow. On the same train will be several from here who are going to attend the sale of A. K. Ma-combers mares at Durlands Friday night. Among them are Edward Cebrian, John D. Carr, Thomas Piatt, A. B. Hancock, John B. Gorham, J. L, Tarlton, Lucas Combs, Brownell Combs, Dan W. Scott, E. Cary Ward, J. L. Carrick, John S. Barbee and Eugene Rucker. Clifford A. Cochran, who has been here for several days seeing his mares and visiting the breeding farm, departed today for New York. CoL and Mrs. E. R. Bradley will leave tomorrow for St. Louis to spend the holidays, after which they go to New Orelans and Palm Beach, for the remainder of the winter.
