PLIGHT OF GERMAN RACING Many Famous Stables Bscoms Property of Polish Owners Steinbach Stud Dissolved. LONDON, England, November SO. According to the Daily Berlin American, the pitiful plight of German racing has been poignantly brought home by the continual selling out of famous stables. Polish owners have acquired in the last few days many well-known horses, among them Totila, Gal-lipoli ILL, Widerhall, Igazato, Bannstcin, Geuse and Parther. In addition Count M. Czannecki has bought six promising foals from E. V. Bennigsen, which are also destined for Poland. The Steinbach Stud is now dissolved completely. The recent sale of ten mares in foal has been followed by the disposal of the last mare of the stud, the famous daughter of Woolwinder Marine, to Count Armin.
