BUYS THREE GOOD MARES LEXINGTON Ky March 3 Wrillliam E Caskey one of the younger breeders and owners of thoroughbred horses today sold to E F Simms three good mares that are to be transferred to Xalapa Farm They are Irish Queen dam of Sennings Park by Bearcatcher from Maid of Fermoy by Tren tola Furbelow by Peter Pan Frillery dam of Bunting by Broomstick Blue Paradise by Helmet Bandello dam of Bac Busy Joe and Oil Man by Kingston Caskey went over to Xalapa Farm with his friend Joe Hawkins to spend a day with the noted mas ¬ ter of one of the most magnificent of all the farms in this country devoted to thorough ¬ bred horse production and while there Simms inquired as to his mares and when Caskey named them over he asked for a price on the three above mentioned and the deal was closed I really didnt care to sell them said the young breeder but having priced them fairly I had to let them go when Mr Simms said he would take them
