successful end with the largest crowd in the history of the track in attendance There were twentyeight days of racing and 168 races decided the total money distribution amounting to 1379SO a daily average of 4927 4927The The Southland Stable by virtue of the unexpected success of Amole in the Derby is the largest money winner among the owners The real leader in point of races won is S N Holman whose horses accounted for six races and 5004 Others who fared well are YVr M Cain L Liebling M L Mahler J R Skinkcr C T Worthington and G Drumhellcr DrumhellcrAmole Amole in capturing the rich Louisiana Derby provided the outstanding surprise of the meeting and earned for his owner the substantial sum of 9294 This gives him first place among the winning horses of which the following also
