IMPROVING MAPLE HEIGHTS CLEVELAND. Ohio. April 4.— The Ohio State Jockey Club plans extensive improvements at Maple Heights before the spring meeting begins May 5. A clubhouse will be erected where the bleachers now stand in front of the paddock. It is also planned to arrange a number of bo seats directly in front of the press stand, while a womens rest room will be added to the stand accommodations. A force of men have been working on the track for some weeks and when the work is completed the track will compare favorably with any in the state. Drains have been laid j along the inside rail, while the turns have been banked two and a half feet, thus insuring greater -peed and lessening the chances of accidents. A drainage system I has also been instalied around the stables, I which will be added to by the addition of | t,heds for the inclement weather.
