ELECTED MANAGER AT DOWNS LOUISVILLE. Ky., April IS.— The board of directors of the Kentucky Jockey Club held a meeting at Churchill Downs today. Andrew Vennie was elected resident manager at Churchill Downs and on the directorate, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Charles F. Grainger. A committee was appointed to draft resolutions on the death of Mr. Grainger. «
