NEWMARKET FALL RACING Solly Joel Had Pleasant Day Last Tuesday When His Horses Won Three Stakes. SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. LONDON, England, Oct 4. Sol Joel scored a triple at Newmarket Tuesday when Holy Friar won the Great Foal Stakes; Gay Angela tho Buckenham Stakes, and Polin the first October Nursery. W. McLachlan, the elder, rode the first two Joel winners, while his son rode Polin. This riding feat is believed to be unique. Lord Derbys four-year-old Swynford colt, Silurian, won the Triennial Produce Stakes at two miles under the high impost of 134 pounds and immediately afterward was sold to Senor Unzue, the Argentine breeder who owned Tracery. He will be sent to the Argentine as a stallion. Prince Aga Khans Diophone, son of Grand Parade and Donnetta, sustained his first defeat in the Hopeful Stakes for two-year-olds. He was beaten a head by Woodend, to which he was conceding fourteen pounds. Woodend is a fine colt He is a half brother to W. R. Coes Tcrentia. Sir A. Baileys Bessema, four-year-old daughter of Son-in-Law and Fire Clay, won the October Handicap. Lord Astors Bright Knight, a son of Gay Crusader Sunny Jane, won the Boscawen Stakes. The colt was making his racing debut. v H. C. Millers Huntingsong, with 114 pounds up, won the Great Eastern Handicap. .
