Won easily; second and third driving. CENTIMETER began fast and, setting a great pace, raced into a long lead at once and held the race safe throughout. HONOR MAN had no mishaps and ran a fast and game race. PATRICIAN raced for-wardly all the way and saved much ground on the turns. RUBY raced well, but began tiring in the stretch. BLUE STONE began slowly and closed a big gap. FINDAY was outrun from the start. JUBA broke down just before reaching the stretch. SIZZLE began fast and, showing much speed, raced into a good lead at ence and, standing a hard drive through the stretch, held GIBBONS safe in the last eighth. GIBBONS raced- in closest pursuit early and took a small lead on the last turn, but tiled near the end. RAY JR. ran well, but was tiring in the last sixteenth and just lasted to save third place. FIRETOMA ran a good race. DEVIL GIRL came with a rush in the last eighth. ANCESTRESS tired. WAUKULLA had a rough race. PETE FOY was far back for the first quarter, but closed an immense gap and was running fast and gamely at the end. ERLANGER raced prominently all the way. FOSTER EMBRY closed a gap and tired in the last eighth. LARCHMONT finished well. UNCLE VELO was always outrun. Won driving; second and third the same. CERTAIN was away poorly, but raced into the lead with a great rush before gcing three-eighths and outstayed BELLE OF ELIZABETHTOWN. The latter was lucky, ran well and finished gamely. METRIC was also lucky to escape falling and finished well. WIDGEON raced gamely, but tired in the stretch. INQUISITION fell and TRANSLATE, HUGHES GRAHAM and WILLIAM A. also fell. They were in a close group when the accident came. Scratched 73948Glyn, 104; 74559 Martha Fallon, 104.
