WORTHMORE WORKS FAST 1 He and Others to Be Sold at La- ! tonia in Fine Condition Crack Yearlings in Consignment. LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct 12. Worthmore, winner of the Breeders Futurity and four other races, which is to be sold in the paddock at Latonia race track next Wednesday, along with all others of the thoroughbreds belonging to C. T. Worthington, yesterday worked a mile over the Kentucky Association track as follows: 24, 37, 50, 1:17, 1:45, pulling up! He had his weight up and was timed by Hal Price Headley and others. Worthmore tipped the scales at 995 pounds and is in the pink of condition. Arrangements are being made to ship the Worthington horses to Latonia Saturday. Meanwhile they are being shown to prospective purchasers who daily visit the local track. The fastest and best looking of the yearlings is the chestnut colt by Uncle Iva-bel, by Ogden. Thus he is a brother to Beverly Belle, and is from a half sister to Old Rosebud. Another grand-looking yearling is the colt by Sweep On Munition, thus a brother to Battlecreek. Worthington paid ,000 for him last May. There is talk among the breeders and others here of asking the State Racing Commission to have a hearing of the Worthing-ton-Kelsay case before next Wednesday.
