ZEV AND MY OWN CLASH In Latonia Champion Stakes Nov, 3, Attracting National Attention Big Crowd Expected. LATONIA, Ky., Oct. 26. Interest in tha meeting of Zev, International race winner, and My Own in the Latonia Championship Stakes next Saturday is growing apace and a wonderful attendance is in prospect judging by the numerous requests for reservations that are pouring in on general manager Matt J. Winn. The Latonia management has started making elaborate preparations for the occasions and building with a view to the comfort of the big crowd that will witness the big race. Reports from locations where Zev and My Own are at present undergoing preliminary training for their Latonia meeting are of most favorable nature and both contenders are destined for arrival at the Mildala course, in plenty of time that will insure familiarity to them of location and enable their final "prep" gallop to be over the course before they actually meet in contest. Advices from trainer Hildreth is that he will send Zev and three other Harry F. Sinclair owned here next Wednesday and stabling has already been prepared for them. It ia not yet definitely known if Hildreth will ccme here with the champion or send him in charge of trainer Leafy, who returns with Bracadale to New York Sunday. Hildreth will be here to saddle Zev in the Latonia Championship Stakes, as will owner Sinclair, who will bring a big party to witness the race. Admiral Cary T. Grayson has expressed keen satisfaction at the prospects of his My Own meeting Zev", and trainer P. M. Burch has intimated that he will have the son of King James oh the scene here early and feels sanguine that he will be the victor over the conqueror of Papyrus.
