Won driving; second and third the same. OMBRAGE, prominent from the start, finished resolutely under vigorous riding and cutfinished BELCROSS in the final drive. BELCROSS set a fast pace and saved ground on the turns, but was tiring at the end. PATHAN was forced back on the turn out of the backstretch and also forced to race extremely wide all the way and ran a good race. ALL IN ALL ran well. ROYAL MISS was in tight quarters for a half-mile. OUTCROSS was compelled to pull up repeatedly. THE POET was eased tip when beaten. Won driving; second and third the tame. JYNTEE, showing a gocd rate of speed, was taken under restraint until entering the stretch, then closed up fast and gamely between her leading opponents and outfinished them in the final drive. STELLA MARIS raced in behind the leaders in close quarters for three-eighths, then came to the out-aide in the last quarter and finished gamely. LADY ROSE began very slowly, but showed excellent peed and took the lead in the early racing, then tired in the last eighth. EGE raced fairly well. KNIGHTS BRIDGE was a forward contender in nearest pursuit and outstayed TANGERINE in the stretch drive. TANGERINE moved up menacingly on the stretch turn, but tired in the last eighth. niGH PRINCE was always outpaced. OVERTAKE tired and quit. WATCH CHARM displayed fine speed and set a fast early place, but was unable to withstand the winners challenge. BLUE STREAK raced prominently all the way. FAUSTO was fcrced to race wide on the turns. BESSIE GERSHEL showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch. JESSAMINE raced well and finisehd fast. MARTOY quit after setting a fast early pace. TIMES UP finished resolutely.
