Rich Queen City Handicap Today LATONIA, Ky., Oct 27. Sixteen highly rated juveniles have been named as probable starters in the rich Queen City Handicap, which will be decided at Latonia tomorrow. The list includes the highly regarded youngster Wise Counsellor, for which the big price of 6,000 was paid by his present owner, J. S. Ward, whose colors he will carry in the race. Mr. Ward assumed charge of the colt last Tuesday. Other noted performers that will attract much interest by their performance are Black Gold and Chilhowee. The East will have a lone representative in Harry P. Sinclairs Bracadale, brought here Thursday by Dave Leary. Bracadale was considered a good youngster in the East, but critics here dont hold him the equal of the western stars. Of the sixteen named to start at least a dozen are expected to answer the bugle. The race will be started and finished in the stretch, a sixteenth from the present finishing line. This is done with a view to eliminate any possible interference that may ensue at the first turn. The system was inaugurated last year when Oui Oui won the same stake. The announced jockeys and post positions allotted the starters follow: P.P. Horse. Wt Rider. Owner.
