PHYLLIS LOUISE ran well and finished gamely. GRAEME, from an outer position, was ridden wide all the way and tired. ANCESTRESS and LIBYAN QUEEN ran fairly well. STUMP JR., racing in vastly improved form, was raced into a gord lead at once and held sway throughout to win easing up. REDWOOD was the closest contender all the way and outstayed WRANGLER. UNTRIED began slowly, but closed an immense gap and was going fastest at the end. GLYN had no mishaps and tired in the stretch. RUSTEM set a good pace to the last eighth. LUGS was done after going a half-mile. ANONYMOUS finished fast. OLD TOP was close up when he lost his rider. RUBY lost her speed suddenly. OO LA LA set the early pace and seemed done after going a half-mile, but came again in the .stretch. PETE FOY showed speed, but tried to run out cn the stretch turn and tired.
