Won driving; second and third the same. ARABIS, well up from the start and showing a liking for the stiff going, finished well and wore down THE RUNT in the closing strides. THE RUNT, away well, soon took the lead, but tired slightly near the end. I.EVOY showed early speed, but tired fast in the last sixteenth. BREECHLOADER came from far back and was going gamely near the finish. BUCK was always outrun. Won easily; second and third driving. DERNIER SOU, well handled, was reserved until reaching the last three-eighths where he moved into the lead and won with much in reserve. CASH, showing speed, hung on with good courage in the final drive. CAP ROCK went well and finished fast. CHAPLET closed a good gap, but tired. LEW POPE also tired. MACBETH came from far back in the last quarter and was closing fast on the winner. KINGSCLERE, after setting a good pace, tired badly after going five-eighths. GOLDEN FLOSS, much the best, was given a weak ride and taken all over the track and was going strong at the finish. CHARLES HENRY quit badly. The others were outrun. Scratched 75027 Trantula, 110. CERTAIN well up from the start held on gamely and might have won, but for Lumping into TRIUMPH several times during the stretch. GLYN finished gamely. SYMPATHY had no mishaps. KING GORIN II.. probably best, was kept in the deepest part of the going and in close quarters in the Btretch, but finished fast. BOURBON BOY showed a good performance. ESCARPOLETTE, showing improvement, tired when reaching the stretch. KIMPALONG was far out of it. ROMPING MARY was eased in the stretch. Overweights Pumps, 2 pounds.
