OMAHA SECRETARY A VISITOR Charles L. Trimble, secretary-manager of the As-Sar-Ben Exhibition Co., of Omaha, Neb., passed through Chicago yesterday on his way to southern Illinois ori a duck hunting trip of ten days or so. Mr. Trimble said that the two race meetings held in Omaha this year were unqualified successes despite the unusual rainy weather encountered. "I believe that thoroughbred racing is firmly established in Omaha," said Mr. Trimble. "We have one of the finest race tracks in the West and the patronage has been wonderful, even during the unseasonable weather that prevailed during the greater part. of the two meetings held this year. We look forward to even greater things in the future and expect to give Omaha some grand racing next year." -
