BLACK GOLD IN TRAINING NEW ORLEANS. La., Jan. 8. The good three-year-old Black Gold, which began his racing career here last winter, is again in training, preparatory for his start in the 5,000 Louisiana Derby, to be run at Jefferson Park March 17, the closing day of the racing season in these parts. The colt is wintering in excellent condition and his trainer expects him to be formidable for any of the cracks that will take part in the first big Derby of the year.
