OAK RIDGE STABLE OF 1924 Fifteen" Horses Will Carry Its Colors During the Coming Year. Five Home-Drcd Two-Ycar-Olils in the Lot Remainder, Except for Three Jumpers, Are Tlirce-Ycar-Olds. 4 NEW YORK, N. Y., Jan. 24. The Oak Ridge stable of Clendennin Ryan :s wintering well at Belmont Park in the care of trainer John Loftus. There are fifteen horses in the stable which are expected to carry the stables colors in the 1924 racing. Of these, five are home-bred two-year-olds. The seven three-year-olds in the stable, ; although of good quality, accomplished little as two-year-olds last year. Laurano, which cost 5,100 at the 1922 Saratoga sales, started ; only once last year. He was successful in that race. He is a brown son of Peter Pan and Passan. Others of the three-year-olds which are expected to show well during the coming season are Mino. Apprehension and Cano. The three older horses in the stable are all steeplechasers. One of these is Isis, which was drawn by the Oak Ridge Stable in the International Steeplechase subscription. This five-year-old mare won four races abroad last year and she is expected to develop into a good prospect in the races through the field during the 1924 season. The "other jumpers in the stable are Drogheda, a four-year-old, and Black Fox, a five-year-old. JUMPERS SCHOOL WELL. The jumpers have been schooled several times during the winter and all three of them have shown good form over the jumps. Isis particularly impressed those who saw her at work.
