Won easily; second and third driving. LEONARD G., away forwardly and helped by the going, raced into a good lead in the first quarter and held his advantage in the stretch to win in a canter. SUN MART came resolutely through the stretch and was going fast at the end. ST. GERARD, racing forwardly from, the start, outstayed ANTIQUITY through the last seventy yards. Won easily; socend and tliird driving. FIFTY-FIFTY, close up from the start, came through the stretch into the lead in the last sixteenth and won going away. SEA-WOLF had no mishaps, but tired after racing into the lead in the stretch. THE PERUVIAN closed a big gap and outstayed HELIX PAKDNER. The latter was going well at the end. SAM FREEDMAN set a good pace, but began tiring after reaching the stretch. COL. TAYLOR quit badly after the first half mile. Scratched 72736 Eddie Jr., 111. The latter set the pace under hard restraint for the first three-eighths, but failed to respond when ridden hard in the last sixteenth. WAR MAN was always la advance of RUPEE. SOVIET ran a good race and finished faster than the leader. DRUM5IOND tired badly in the last eighth after taking the lead and seemingly being winner. BASTILLE ran a bad race. HAIDEE tired after going a good half mile. SANDS OF PLEASURE moved up with a rush after going a half mile and, gaining steadily, passed into the lead in the stretch, but swerved over to the inner rail and had to be sliaken up near the end. CURRENT EVENTS moved up steadily in the stretch and was going well at the end. GEORGETTE ran a gcod race and might have been second but for suffering from interference in the last eighth. ROYAL CROWN was always far back and so was SIX PENCE. SERBIAN quit badly after leading to the far turn.
