Won driving; second and third the same. POLLY WALE set a fast pace while under restiaint and when challenged by CANYON held the latter safe under a good ride. CANYON stood a hard drive gamely, but was always held safe by the winner. CHIVA finished fast and close up. FIGHTING COOK tired. THE FALCONER set the pace from the start and, holding sway throughout, held ELIAS O. safe through the final seventy yards. ELIAS O. stood a long and hard drive gamely and finished fast and close up. QUECREEK was haid ridden and did his best. DORIUS was in close quarters next to the rail all through the final eighth. WYNNEWOOD seemed to sulk and refused to extend himself. Overweight Elias O., 2 pounds.
