JEFFERSON PARK NOTES Thirty-eight layers cut in for business. Tom Shaw departs Thursday noon for Tijuana for an extended visit. W. J. Crawford lias bet?n appointed authorized agent for the Hamilton Stable. Jake Beyer, an arrival from California, departs Saturday night for Xew York. Of the eighty-nine horses eligible to start in the six races, thirty-two declined the issue. J. Randolph purchased Big Sapp from J. J. Holtman during the forenoon at a private sale. Benny Silverman and M. Glennoh departed today for L,os Angeles for a brief visit to Will Collins. Phil McGinnis, patentee of the starting gate in use on the local tracks, departed Tuesday night for his home at London, Ontario.
