JEFFERSON PARK NOTES Jockey J. Heupel has left for Toronto to visit the home of his wifes mother. Voltage was ordered scratched from tho third race because of insufficient identification. - II. Zander, who incurred a suspension at the Fair Grounds meeting, resumed riding; Monday. Jockey Eddie Martin will leave here Thursday to report to the stable of Hal Price Headley, which is in training at Lexington,. Ky. C. S. Wilson, in charge of the stable oC Mrs. C. S. Lemicux, is arranging to ship his horses to Omaha, Neb., for the meeting at that place. Blackolia has been fired and blistered by C. Houbre, who has also purchased Milton M. and Dwarf from the Southland Stable, at a private sale. L. Montgomery, a novice jockey, had his first mount when lie was astride Fred Kinney in the sixth race. He is under contract to W. A. Baumgartner. Manager W. R. Woollatt of the Devonshire trade has arranged for either William Hamilton or William Snyder to do the starting: at his track the coming season. The stewards permitted owner A. Swenko to waive the apprentice allowance on Royal. Duck in the sixth race in order to enable I.. Parke to ride the aged gelding. Mrs. R. M. Hoots, owner of Black Gold, tho-favorite for the Louisiana Derby, arrived from her home in Tulsa, Okla., and will remain until the close of the Jefferson Parle, meeting.
