CANADIAN TURF GOSSIP TORONTO, Ont,, March 21. Maternal Pride, son of Plaudmore Mother, Kings Plate candidate, has developed into a strapping three-year-old and is reported to have worked fast before going into winter quarters at the Wilson farm at Oakville. Moon Madness is also at the Wilson farm and has all the earmarks of a good race horse. A new addition to the jumping division is Irish Dream, which raced successfully under the colors of E. K. Bryson. Another green fellow to make his debut over the sticks is the Canadian-bred four-year-old Lord Marcus. He is a natural jumper and if he can carry his speed should earn brackets often. Prosperino, a good brood mare by Vulcain Ballerina is due to foal next month at the Wilson farm. The sire is Alasam, ono of the English importations of the Canadian Racing Associations.
