PAYS 0,000 FOR WAR SHOT SAN FRANCISCO, Cal., March 21. An important thoroughbred deal was announced here yesterday. It was the sale by Maj. Sven Christenson of the stallion War Shot, the-nine-year-old stallion that was formerly owned by A. K. Macomber, and two fillies and a colt, to C. A. Hartwell of Honolulu, fancy stock raiser and racing man, for 0,000. War Shot alone brought 0,000. Purchase-of the horses followed the good performance of Bear Shot, sired by War Shot, at tha Tijuana track this year.
