NEWS OF FRENCH JOCKEYS American Riders Returning to Paris in Readiness for the Opening of the Season. SPECIAL CORRESPONDENCE. PARIS, France, March 7. The jockeys are preparing for the beginning of the French season. Frank ONeill spent the winter at St. Moritz. He rides- for Mr. Macomber and second for Cohn. McGee will again pilot the Edouard de Rothschild horses and his second is also with Cohn. . George Stern, of course, is training and riding when he likes his chances for Boussac. Garner is under contract to Aga Khan, with second .call to Jean Prat. Frank Kcogh is with the J. E. WiHener stable. Haynes of course, is with "Gene" Leigh and the wonder horse "Epinard. ; Fred Williams is with Wattine, and the Due Decazes told me the other day he was going to ride also for him. Sharpe is with Jean Stern, and second with Teneyck, the owner of Massine, a distance horse to remember this year. Jennings is with Ranucci and Henri Count Vatord, the crack lightweight, is with his teacher, Lawrence, who holds his papers, and his second call is to Jean Stern. There was talk that Fairbrother was coming over. He would have obtained a good engagement if he had, for Frank Keogh said some complimentary things about him. M. Allemand will be seen in the Boussac colors, and will also surely be up for Jean Lieux considerably.
