At post 1 minute. Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. OCEAN CURRENT, away fast, set a good pace and was passed by STAMPDALE after rounding the last turn, then passed the latter quickly in the final sixteenth to win easing up. STAMPDALE rushed into a good lead after turning for home, but readily succumbed to the winners challenge and finished tiring. MASTER BILLY made a game finish and just managed to outstay NOTENOUGH. Wen driving; second and third the same. SERENA followed KILKAItE closely until after entering the stretch, then raced into the lead to win in a game finish under hard riding. LUCKY DOLLAR, after racing prominently, swerved badly in the stretch or she might have won. VIBRATOR raced gamely and finished fast. CADMUS showed improvement and finished clcse up. KILKARH tired after showing, the most speed to the stretch. STONE BELL was away slowly and "was never a prominent contender. Overweights Serena, 1 pound; Tayoltita, 3; Cavite, 4. CHROME showed the most speed and, when challenged, made a resolute finish. PAVLOWA was going fastest of all at the end. PLANTAGENET made up ground. SIR JOHN JR. and CHARMANT tired. SAN HEDRON, skilfully ridden, took the lead on the backstrctch and set the pace to midway of the stretch, where he was headed by MARY JANE BAKER, then came again under strong ridiug and oqtfinished her. MARY JANE RAKER took the lead and appeared all over the winner when an eighth out, but tired when nearing the end. CAVALCADOUR II. ran a gcod race. PLURALITY closed a big gap with a belated rush. MARCH LAD tired after setting the pace to the backstrctch. KVER BOLD was taken back behind the leader after racing a half, then finished gamely when called on and only gave way right at the end. VIRGINIUS moved up fast when turning for home and, after taking the lead, lost only because his jockey was outridden. FLANKT finished fast and close up. VAN PATRICK ran well.
