MRS. CLARK VISITS PARIS When Bad "Weather Stops Hunting in England, American Sportswoman Goes to France. SPECIAL CORRESPONDENCE. PARIS, France, March 7. Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark was frozen out at Melton, so with no hunting there she came over for a short visit to Mrs. J. K. L. Ross in Paris. They visited Chantilly one afternoon. Mrs. Clark is as keen as ever on the jumpers, and, meeting Major Gilroy, started right in to ask about the syndicate grab bag horses which were sent out to subscribers in the States. She wished to know if there was another Dan IV. around, and what" was the real French jumping crack. The Major told her there were certainly others Dans around if one could find them, and that positively Onyx II. was the best steeplechase horse in France. Mrs. Ross and Miss Ross are going to England to meet the Commander, who is coming from Canada for the Grand National. They are then returning to America to go direct to Laurel.
