Moore is a devotee hi polo and is a member of the team that is to go to France in June for the interna-; tional games. Thomas H. Logan, of Parkersburg, W. Va.. through W. EL Caskey. Jr., has purchased from Lucas B. Combs the good French mare Lady Love, by Shannon — Joie, by Chambet-i ton, and her fine suckling chestnut colt by j Light Brigade. The mare goes to the court | | of Lucky Hour, which young stallion is m.vk-I ing his drat season at W. E. Caskeys Bramble Farm, a new establishment near Lexing-| ton, it being a part of what was Overton H. Chenanlta Spendthrift Stud Farm. Lucky , Hour has just been transferred from Xafcfpa Farm to Bramble Farm and a number of : good mares have been booked to him. Three mares purchased during the week , I by Thomas B. Young for Charles B. Shaffer j have been added to the Coldstream Stud band. They are Colorvieto, by Collar — i Agnes Orvieto and Anola dam of Sinola by | Sempronius -Altuda. from J. L. Tarlton, I I and Tower Light, by Ogden— Magna Stella, from Mrs. C. W. Moore. W. E. Caskey has purchased from R. E. Vickerman through I*. S. Sutcliffe the young Von Tromp mare Palruba half sister to i Kalitan and she will he bred to Lucky Hour. Miss Elizabeth Laingerfleld has bought from E. L. Fitzgerald the six-year-old mare Crimson Rambler, by Pebbles— Climber by Voter. She has two cusses of Ben Brush and two of Domino and is to be mated with Hie:h Cloud, which has two crosses of Domino and one of Ben Brush. The expected produce will trace three times to the mare Running Stream. R. E. Wilson has purchased from Milton K. Snyder the five-year-old mare Toise, by Uncle.
