KILMER FILLIES AT HAVRE Sunayr and Sunmagne May Start in Harford Handicap on Opening Day of the Meeting. HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 10.— There are possibilties in Sunayr and Sunmagne, the smartest of the three-year-old fillies of the stable of Willis Sharpe Kilmer, which John I. Smitli brought here from Sun Briar Court at Binghamton, N. Y.. last week. Sunayr and Sunmagne, both daughters of the brilliant Sun Briar, the first named from ! Misty Daw, the other from Bomagne, had [some hardening work over the covered track 1 at the Kilmer farm before they started this 1 way. They have worked so briskly here as jto justify the hope that they will be ready for the colors April ltj, the opening day of | the spring meeting here. Possibly one of i these will be a starter in the Harford Handicap, and maybe both will show before the finish of the meeting that they are worthy |to race with Happy Thoughts, June Flower, I Initiate, Miss Whisk and the other eastern stars of their sex in the ,000 Pimlieo Oaks. | Sunayr appears to be the better Oaks ; prospect now. Winning six races last year, i the Bouquet Selling Stakes at Belmont Park among them, she earned 3,000 and was the Kilmer stables biggest money winner. Sallys Alley won only ,500 last year and Mint Briar only ,400. Sunayr beat Flying Fur and Broomfield over the local course last spring. She beat Yankee Princess, Brice, Flax and Colonel West here last fall. At Laurel Park she took the measure of Miss Whisk, one of the fastest youngsters of either sex that appeared last year under the H. I*. Whitney silks and which was at her best in October. Sunmagne won one race here last fall and would have done better if she had not suffered an attack of influenza at Belmont Park in May and failed to regain her strength fully. But she ran Time Exposure to a neck in a race of three-quarters in muddy going at Pimlieo in November just the same. Sunmagne seems to be at home in muddy going, which was the sort in which Sun Briar did some of his best racing. The Kilmer candidate for the ,000 Aberdeen, Havre de Graces big two-year-old stake, is Sunlist, sister of Sunspero, one of last years best two-year-olds. A
