NEW ROAD TO BOWIE TRACK J. F. 0Hara Expects to See It Completed Before Fall Meeting Begins. BOWIE, Md., April 10.— James F. OHara announced today that before the fall meeting at Bowie there will be a new road completed from Baltimore to Bcwie that will malrfc motoring to the track possible. While Bowie has been tremendously popular from its first meeting, the lack of passable roads has been the most serious handicap. It has kept many of the most desirable patrons away and when this new work is completed it will make a vast difference. When Bcwie was first established it was promised that there would be a spur constructed by the Pennsylvania Railroad to the track, but that has never been done and the otdy way to reach the course has been by the electric line of the Washington Baltimore and Annapolis line. This ser i. e. has been improved as the demand* became greater, meeting after meeting, but it has been inadequate to comfortably take care of the crowds. The work is going forward on this new-road and Mr. OHara has been assured that it will be completed during the summer months and there will bo a short stretch added that will lead directly to the track.
