RUNNYMEDES 1924 RECORD Seven of His Juveniles Have Already Won This Year — Yearlings to Be Sold at Saratoga. The victory of Runstar in the 0,000 Coff-roth Handicap at Tijuana again brings prominently before the public the sire of that horse — Runnymede, son of Voter and Running Stream, by Domino. Two years ago, because of the fame of Morvich, Runnymede was one cf the most discussed sires in the country. Rtinstars recent success again brings him into prominence, but his present standing does not depend on that colt alone, for he is the leading sire of two-year-old winners for 13JI. No less than seven of his get of that ae have already earned brackets this year. This is a remarkable showing so early in a racing se.xson. Napa Stock Farm, the nursery owned by A. BL Spreckels, from which came Itinstar, Morvich and many other winners, will for the first time in many years send its yearlings to the eastern market next August. Mr. Spreckels lias notified Kasig-Tipton Company that his entire crop of 1923 will he shipped to them at Saratoga. While principally the get of Runnymede, two other stallions.
