Won easily; seexmd and third driving. FLYING EBONY raced like a crack celt, began well, showed high speed in pacemaking, and drew away in t he stretch to win in a canter. BARRAGE raced prominently frcm the start, but was lucky to land in second place. MODESTA ra -ed well. SON OF TROMP was cut off soon after the start, but closed a big gap and would have been second in a few more strides. FOREIGN RELATIONS had no mishaps and tired slightly. TEN-LEC raced well and had no mishaps. COLONEL GILMORE closed a gap in the last quarter. PRINCESS DOREEN will probably be benefited by the race. GLIDE was always far back. J. G. KITTY PAT quickly raced into tlie lead with a ru-di and, making the pact fast, held it gamely through the stretch. LITTLE VISITOR raced in closest pursuit for the entire way and held to her tusk well in the final drive. CREAM PUFF came with a rush through the stretch. RlRAL ROUTE suffered frm interference soon after the start. DRESS GOODS also met interference after the start. LITTLE GIPSY and FANNY DE COURSY tired.. FI.YATIT and EVELYN acted badly at the post. CHILIIOWKK ran a good race and headed BRACADALE in the last eighth, but tired slightly near the end. BEAU BUTLER closed a great gap and ran an excellent race. ALTAWOOD closed an immense gap after making a slow be-ginnlng. BRACADALE tired after leading to the stretch. TRANSMUTE was done after going the first three-quarters. MAI PLAY was always outrun. The latter gained steadily after reaching the stretch and was going fastest at the end. BO McMILLAN was far back for a half mile and closed big gap in the stretch.
