Won handily; second and third , driving. 111 K THOUGHTS gradually improved her position and, joining the leaders on the stretch turn, came fast through the stretch into the lead and won going away. ROSA YKTA closed a big gap anil after having lost ground when entering the stretch got up in the closing strides for second place. DAYDUK set a fast pace to the stretch and finished gamely. BABY LANK raced well from the start, • hut tired after taking the lead. REAR CRASS began slowly and closed a big gap and so did KKKNAN. BESSIE I.KICHTON was practically left. Won handily, second and third | driving. RED WING-FIELD took the lead at nice and. setting a good pace outfinished MISSIONARY at the end. The latter probably best, was messed about throughout and away in a tangle, was in close quarters to the stretch, but finished resolutely on the outside. The latter raced on the inside for the first half, but came on the ontsida on the stretch turn 1 and finished fast. EAGLET closed up some ground in the stretch. THE WORLD retired after going a good half mile. BILLY WARRRN propped at the start. . . . Won easily: second and third driving SAMARITAN was a forward contender from the start and. coming fast on the outside after rounding the stretch turn, passed the leaders and was going away at the end. LAURANO showed the most speed from the start and set a fast pace to the stretch, but tired from strenuous racing wih LADKIN. The latter moved up swiftly while rounding the stretch turn, but tired badly after taking the lead. SHERMAN was saved behind the leader and made a close stretch turn, but could not get up. KliONDYKE and AGA KHAN were always outrun. Scratched 79097 Ordinance, 124. WATER GIRL gradually unproved her position from a slow beginning and finished fast. APOI»CY was shufTled back shortly after the start and closed a big gap. SCOTTISH CHIEF finished with a rush. SHINE ON shewed the most early speed, but quit. DAN BOLLING retired after going seven-eighths. JAUNEBAR ran poorly. FKLICITOUS refused to go.
