Latest Turf Notes From Jamaica T. H. Wilson sold St. Martins to J. Mangus at private terms. Trainer Alec Gordon arrived from Louisville yesterday morning. Jockey L. McAtee contracted a slight cold and cancelled his riding engagements for the afternoon. The first race on the regular program failed to fill and the sixth race, having twenty-three entries, was divided. R. O. Egan claimed Edisto from L. S. , Thompson following the running of the Greenfield Claiming Stakes for ,500. The funeral of the late John Tierney, a well-known race track character, will be held from St. Edwards Church, St. Edwards Street and Leo Place, Brooklyn, Thursday morning.
