Julius Reeder will leave Friday for La-tonia to open the racing secretarys office at that track. Cal Milam has sold the three-year-old King ONeill II. to J. F. Schorr, who was acting for his employer, E. B. McLean. Thomas C. Bradley, manager of the Lexington track, and Carneal Kinkead, public works commissiooner of Lexington, were amongs Thursdays visitors. Gene Elrod has arranged for a special train for the benefit of horsemen and others going to Latcnia. It will leave over the i . and N. at 7 :45 Sunday morning and will stop at the Latonia track, Newport and Cincinnati. Body Guard was transferred to A. Barretts stable after the colt raced in the fourth race. Barrett had previously bought Blue Nose from Mr. E. R. Bradley and will form the neucleus for a racing establishment that Louis Thompson will train for Barrett. S. C. Nuckols, Jr., who serves as one of the stewards here, departed for New York, where he will be the auctioneer at the coming Belmont Park sale, conducted under the , Fasig-Tipton auspices. Mr. Nuckols will return to Latonia Monday and be on hand to serve in the stewards stand for the opening day.
