JOCKEY PARKES CONDITION IS QUITE SATISFACTORY CINCINNATI. Ohio, June 5. — The condition of jockey Ivan Parke, lying at the Good Samaritan recovering from his attack of appendicitis, was pronounced as satisfactory as could be expected by hospital authorities late Thursday. It was stated that Parke passed a good day and that he had come out of the ether nicely. His attending physician. Dr. J. B. Miller, is also satisfied with the manner in which Parke came through the operation. It is his opinion that the young man will probably be able to go about within ten days or two weeks. After the danger period passes late Friday it is intimated that ParKes many friends will be permitted to visit him. Only his intimate friends are allowed to remain with | the lad more than a few minutes at a time.
