PRETTY POLITICIAN raced well and finished gamely, j PHIDIAS was in the best going through the stretch and finished well. COLFIN had no mishaps. TELESCOPE was going well at the end. PERSIAN MAID moved up steadily from a Flow beginning and, coming fast and gamely in the stretch, passed REALIZE and won easing t:p. The latter was away fast and shewed the most speed to the last eighth, hut tired near the end. BEULAH STONE finished gamely and was going fast at the end. LORETTA BROOKS, practically left, ran a good race and closed a big gap. BISKRA tired. PATRICK SARSFIELD quit after going a good half mile. ESCARPOLETTE, greatly improved, raced forwardly from the start and stayed well in the final drive. FLOWER SHOP dropped back after going a half mile and came again in the stretch. MR.
