If Robin Hood could run in proportion to the rapidity with which he can switch his tail it would take a better horse than Dick Welles to beat him over any distance of ground. Although not nearly so tall as "Skeets" Martin, who can still ride at 102 pounds, Danny Maher seems to be steadily increasing in weight, for last season he could do 112 pounds without discomfort,- whereas this season he has to waste a bit to get below 116 pounds.
