Won easily; second and third driving. GOLDEN LYNN was forced back at the start and had to race all around the others, but raced into a good lead in the stretch and won going away. LITTLE JIMMY began well and, running a good race, made a game finish. TRY AGAIN showed the most early speed, but began tiring after going a half mile. SAM MENGEL ran well and had no mishaps. RATTLE SHOT was ridden wide on the first turn and kept far back for three-quarters, but came fast in the stretch in the worst part of the track and gamely outstayed KUFIYA. The latter showed the most speed from the start and stayed well in the final drive. EBONY BELLE raced in closest pursuit for three-quarters before tiring. BABBLING ran well, but tired in the last eighth. WHIFF was always far back. Won handily; second and third driving. LAVINIA began fast and raced into a good lead, but had to be ridden hard in the stretch to outstay BESSIE LEIGHTON. The latter showed sudden improvement and passed LAVINIA on the stretch turn, hut began tiring near the end. CORTO raced forwardly from the start, but tired in the last eighth. VOOGERIA. weakly ridden, came with a rush right at the end and would have been third in another stride. WIRELESS tired badly. The latter was all over the track, but closed a big gap in the stretch and possibly was best. ROUND ROBIN was in closest pursuit for nearly nil the way, but tired in the last eighth. AL STEBLER had no mishaps. GAlli FORD fan a poor race and was done after going three-quarters. The latter raced in closest pursuit for the entire way and was gaining at the finish. HOY suffered from much interference by PLUS ULTRA and had to race in the deepest going. PLUS ULTRA showed speed, but quit in the stretch. SOLDIER II. was far back for the entire race and can do much better.
