DORVAL PARK TURF NOTES MONTREAL, Que., Sept 8. Jerry Gorman arrived from Ottawa. E. Glassco is an arrival from Windsor. Dan Kearney has taken over Dorval Boy for training. J. C. Fletcher came from Toronto to see his colors in action. T. J. Donohue returned to the circuit after a short visit to his home in Rochester. F. Murphy has been looking after the stable in the absence of Donohue. The following horsemen arrived with horses this morning from Quebec: W. Ilarner, W. Young, O. Tuggle, P. Hazza, B. J. McDonald, J. L. Kennedy, J. E. Hocper and W. Ritchie. Mbrty Mahoney resumed the management of the mutuel machine department. He came from Timonium and reported a bright outlook for Maryland fall rp.cing cn the strength of the patronage and play at the fair meeting. The attendance was greater than a year ago and mutuel receipts were about on a par.
