Won easily; second and third driving. KOSMAN raced to the front at the start and easily won all the way. MODESTA closed a gap and finished gamely, but was no match for the winner. RED SQUIRREL also made up ground and finished gamely, but tired in the final strides. LA BELLE showed speed for a half mile. IIUEY ran fairly well. STAY ON could never get up. ISAMAN came fast around the stretch turn, but tired in the last seventy yards. ARABIAN was far back in the early running, but came fast when ridden hard and finished gamely. GLENTILT took the lead on the last turn, but could not withstand the final rush of the winner. STONE AGE ran well and finished gamely. TEN CAN ran well to the stretch and quit.
