ISIS jumped well for the first turn of the field and blundered a couple of times in the second time around and raced extremely wide when going to the final jump, but held the race safe all the way. ELZEAR jumped in improved form and finished gamely. JERICHO ran a good race, but tired. TRAP-STICK raced prominentlyfor the first turn of the field. RAGAMUFFIN was pulled up after taking the sixth jump. BULLDOG DRUMMOND was forced out of the course by TRAPSTICK at the third jump. Overweight Trapstick, 1 pound. RIVAL moved up resolutely after rounding the far turn and finished gamely, but tiring through the final sixteenth. DINNA CARE finished with a rush on the outside. LUCKY PLAY met with early interference. II. T. WATERS was forced to be taken up shortly after the start. ZEV was unprepared at the start and, being left, was not persevered with. BLUE WARBLER, close up from the start, raced on the outside, but carried her weight well and, finishing fast and resolutely, outgamed SWINGING in the final drive. SWINGING forced or set a fast pace all the way arid raced SUPERLETTE into defeat, but tired right at the end. MARTHA MARTIN was outrun early, but saved ground on the stretch turn and finished fast. SUPERLETTE quit after setting a fast early pace. HEARTH BROOM had no mishaps. LIGHTSHIP quit after going well for five-eighths. The latter was on the inside all the way, moved up resolutely through the stretch and was running well at the end, although in close quarters through the final sixteenth. The latter began slowly, but closed a gap on the outside and finished gamely. THUNDERING was rushed to the front and raced NEW MOON into defeat, but tired badly.
